PullTheory was built around a simple idea: collectors should not have to blindly trust a stranger. PullShield adds a neutral verification step before a protected transaction is completed.
2. Card comes to PullTheory
The required card is shipped to the neutral middle rather than directly to the other collector.
3. PullShield verification
We compare the card with its listing and inspect for authenticity concerns, alterations, condition discrepancies, and other material differences.
4. Verified or stopped
If verification requirements are met, the transaction continues. If the card materially fails verification, it is not forwarded as though it passed.
What PullShield does — and does not — promise
PullShield is a verification layer designed to reduce risk; it is not a guarantee that every collectible can be conclusively authenticated or professionally graded. We document material issues we identify and apply the transaction rules before completion.
Before shipping, collectors should review the current PullShield rules, shipping instructions, fees, and transaction terms. Do not ship a card until PullTheory provides the applicable transaction instructions.
